Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that two residents were injured, on Saturday at dawn, after the Israeli army bombarded an area, north east of Gaza City.

The sources said that F16 the air strike targeted the Al-Maqousy Towers residential area in the city leading to damages in the building an two injuries.

Medics and firefighters rushed to the scene and moved the wounded residents to the Ash-Shifa Medical center in Gaza.

The Israeli army said that it bombarded two areas in the Gaza Strip overnight in retaliation to homemade shells fired into the south of the country.

The army added that the two areas are “training facilities” used by fighters of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

Furthermore, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that one of its fighters shot, on Friday evening, an Israeli soldier, east of Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. So, far, there has been no Israeli reports confirming or denying the statement.

"Retaliation" as bombing recidental area - means attack against civilians what is strongly against Geneva Conventions and can also call as "war crime". As usual zionists call any area in Gaza as “training facilities” if they bomb it, just same if it kindergarten, hospital, home or mosque.

Powerful website by veteran Israeli soldiers speaking out against the treatment of Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Breaking the Silence is an organization of veteran combatants who have served in the Israeli military since the start of the Second Intifada and have taken it upon themselves to expose the Israeli public to the reality of everyday life in the Occupied Territories. We endeavor to stimulate public debate about the price paid for a reality in which young soldiers face a civilian population on a daily basis, and are engaged in the control of that population’s everyday life.

[...]

We collect and publish testimonies from soldiers who, like us, have served in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem since September 2000, and hold lectures, house meetings, and other public events which bring to light the reality in the Territories through the voice of former combatants. We also conduct tours in Hebron and the South Hebron Hills region, with the aim of giving the Israeli public access to the reality which exists minutes from their own homes, yet is rarely portrayed in the media.

More zionist logic; after the Ansar Brigades, the armed wing of the Ahrar Movement was firing three homemade shells at the Zikim Israeli military base near borders of Gaza, israeli military killed 30 sheeps east of Juhr Ad-Deek town, in central Gaza at Sunday by automatic fire from military towers. The shepherds said that they did not even approach the border fence.

:heated: Very very logic way to retaliate indeed. Or then those poor sheeps were danger for israelis security.
