this makes no sense to me. What do you mean by "legal persons"? Lawyers? As for children. You claim you are a student of Islamic law, correct? Maybe before you study the higher up subjects, you should study the basics first. Every child is born a Muslim - it is the parents that give it another religion.
The Prophet (PBUH) reported that Allah said, "I created my servants in the right religion but devils made them go astray". The Prophet (PBUH) also said, "Each child is born in a state of "Fitrah", then his parents make him a Jew, Christian or a Zoroastrian, the way an animal gives birth to a normal offspring. Have you noticed any that were born mutilated?" (Collected by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim).

When your Lord drew forth from the loins of the children of Aadam their descendants and made them testify concerning themselves. Saying: Am I not your Lord? Islam has never been a secular religion, it is a religion which allows anyone to enter it, regardless of colour, creed, tribal affiliation etc, so no. You are wrong. Your western education has pretty much dictated your opinion, and it is flawed. Sorry to say it.
