Abraham was not a Jew for the name Jew in its true sense derives from Judah who was the great grandson of Abraham. Abraham could not possibly descend from his great grandson Judah ,nor could he have inherited a faith named after his great grandson. Abraham was a Muslim meaning one who Submits to the Lord.

Abraham was not a Christian. The name Christian derives from the Greek word Christos meaning the anointed one or the Messiah. The Messiah Jesus(Isa) did not appear during the lifetime of Abraham and therefore he could not have referred to himself as a follower of the Messiah or a Christian.Abraham was a Muslim meaning one who Submits himself to the Lord.
