The status of the Muslim women in Islaam is one of honour and dignity. Her influence over the life of every Muslim is great and consequently significant to the whole of society.
Women compose half of the population, if not more.
Additionally, it is women who spend more time in the presence of children than men. Indeed, the mother is the initial teacher; the pillar in the building of a righteous society, providing she follows the guidance from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (SalAllahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam). It is therefore imperative that as Muslim women, our obedience to Allah is firmly intact with knowledge in order to be the best role models for those around us.
Al Mu’minaat recognises the important role women play in establishing an upright society. It is our aim to produce female teachers and daai’yyahs who will be able to educate themselves, their own families and other sisters; thus the wider society at large – something vital yet lacking in our Ummah today. Allah Subhaanu wa Ta’aala has bestowed on women specific roles and blessed them with attributes which entitle them to be the means in fulfilling this duty.
Al Mu’minaat intends to educate sisters of all age groups through Madrassat Al Mu’minaat, Adult Seminars, Daa’iyyah Programmes and other regular events.
