With the celebration of Eid Ul Adha just around the corner have we ever asked ourselves what the purpose of Eid is? Also many of us being busy in preparing for Eid,
sometimes forget that there is a great day indeed, the day of Arafah which is the day before Eid Ul Adha.
It was reported from Abu Qutaadah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the Day of 'Arafaah. He said, "It expiates for the sins of the
previous year and of the coming year." Narrated by Muslim.
