Have a read of this article. It clearly shows where Britain's loyalties lie:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-20524115

"In a short debate in the House of Lords - the UK Parliament's second chamber - to mark the 95th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, independent peer Baroness Tonge said the Palestinians had been "totally betrayed" by successive British governments.

The 1917 Declaration, in the form of a letter by the then foreign secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, is regarded as the first significant assertion by a world power of their support for a Jewish "national home" in what was then known as Palestine.

Baroness Tonge, a frequent critic of Israel who quit the Lib Dems earlier this year, added: "By making our government's support for the UN bid conditional on Palestine not pursuing Israel through the ICC, is the government not admitting Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza and the West Bank and is seeking impunity for that country?"

UN welcomes State of Palestine

General Assembly upgrades status of Palestine; 138 vote for the resolution, 9 against, while 41 abstain.

Sorry Britain.

:alhamd: This is great news.

We don't have to apologize to Britain for anything. They should be apologizing to us for openly trying to cover up Israel's crimes.

This vote proves that the world is bigger than the U.S. Israel and Britain. Their vote had no effect whatsoever.

:ia: The Palestinians shall get their recognition soon and the Zionists will have to concede.

I am comfortable with this result. Israel has always claimed they they do not commit war crimes.

Israel must double check that they do not commit any and the Palestinians cannot make false claims.

Everything in this conflict has 2 sides.

More like openly aided the colonial settler state even though the terrorist Zionists bombed them in the king David hotel, along with many other incidents since 1948 are too numerous to count. The most important thing now is how they're trying to change the identity of Jerusalem claim it as a capital even though that goes against the law and keep building their colonies by force.. I see their defeat soon in shaa Allah, the first win with Hamas is a prelude for things to come.. why do you think they're so rabid to cause unrest in the entire region especially in Egypt.. Umar souliman was such buddy buddy with israelis while they were dying at the border at Gaza they deliberately closed the tunnels so they wouldn't let anyone into Egypt for treatment, or food or shelter or medicine.. God I could fill out pages..

I mean it is outrageous for a sovereign nation to want recognition after being colonized but at least it is a step in the right direction...
God I feel like a dark chocolate chip cookie with white chocolate morsels =)))))))))))
