Being a Muslim the prayer for more and more knowledge should always be on our tongue. It is the knowledge that can save us from the fire of hell. Therefore, it is wise to seek knowledge of our religion of peace and then act upon it with true spirit. Sometimes I think we are lucky to live in a Muslim country. For those who live in secular countries it would be quite difficult to get Islamic knowledge formally and it would be more difficult to educate their kids.
Muslims of London in this regard are quite lucky that they have option of sending their kids on weekends to learn the teachings of Islam. A group of Islamic scholars in London have established Islamic Weekend Schools under the Umbrella of Ideal Muslim UK in East London in the Ilford area in Lewisham and in Harrow
