Asalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

Welcome to iDawah!

So imagine, the world's there attacking you simply because you spoke out in the defense of Islam. You're alone, while 20 people paste massive articles from pure anti-Islamic sites. You know the answers, but you know that no-one's really willing to hear you out.

So what do you do? You run away.. that's the best option right? Or maybe you only PM the people you think will benefit from your dawah? Deep down inside, you're saddened - how can you give a good image of Islam to whoever wants to listen, if all these people keep doing is harassing, or taking the facts out of context? This will only put the innocent people who want to learn about Islam into hating it too...

I'm going to leave.. this has drained me out.. there's like a billion muslims in the world, yet how many have betrayed us? Why aren't we willing to help each other out?

If only we could unite and defend our faith, together.. like a place where we could discuss with other Muslim callers who have the same aims as us.. a place where we could ask the knowledgeable about the things we're unsure about? Maybe a place where we could come together with Muslims from all over the world, and if we anyone ever needs any support in any dawah - we support them?

..our strength lies in unity right?

Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good (Islam) - enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong:

And it is they who are the successful.

People already waste a lot of time on the forums than spending it wisely, doing something productive in their lives. I don't know if they need more forums to keep them busy, seems like shaytan's way of keep you busy from doing something more beneficial.

Assalamu-alaikum,

JazakAllah khair akhee for your good intentions in this project.

Just a few comments:

- As sister Islamica has mentioned, its becoming increasingly difficult to balance our lives off-line and on-line - esp. with regards to forums.
Theres lots of beneficial knowledge that can be gained from Islamic forums, but one needs to be very disciplined to ensure that on-line time is spent wisely. Its very easy to get drawn into fruitless discussions that can literally take hours of our time.
So, its a good idea to limit the number of forums that we are strongly associated to, rather than increasing it.

- I think that IB already addresses many of these types of topics in the 'Discover Islam' section for non-muslims/ reverts.
Insha Allah, if there are specific dawah-related topics that need to be more adequately addressed, then a seperate section for this can be suggested.
In this way, you can maximise on the current membership of the forum - to spread these important messages to a wider audience.

- With regards to giving dawah, I highly suggest attending the course 'Dawah Power' by Ustadh Hamza Tzortis for all - young or old, its never to late to learn! : )
Basically, the approach entails that IRRESPECTIVE of the question posed by the disbeliever, one learns to lead the discussion to:

God's, Oneness
His Revelations And
the Prophets of Allah

--> Called the 'GO RAP' approach.

Trying to answer/ refute each and every question that the disbelievers pose usually does not work because:
- Many muslims (even those who have been in the deen for decades), cannot provide adequate answers to many questions (e.g. the niqaab, Aishas (ra) age of marriage, polygamy, etc.), and NEITHER is it our duty to try to provide knowledge that we are not properly trained in. In fact, we can be causing more harm/ fitnah by giving advise that is not entirely correct.

- By leading every discussion to 'GO RAP' - we are essentially providing the answer for everything --> that we believe in One Supreme Being, Allah (subhanawataála), who has sent Revelations over time (the last being the Quraan) that explains how we should live.....via prophets (the final being Muhammed (salalahu alaihi wasalam) ).
So, when asked: 'Why do women wear hijab' - the answer is: the above (as well as the answer to every other question, subhanAllah!)

Its not possible to do justice to this approach in words - so, insha Allah try to attend one of his courses (he's based in the UK but travels abroad as well), or watch his videos on YT or the website IERA.

May Allah Taa'la reward you abundantly for all your efforts made to spread His message (this, as well as all others).
Ameen.

I truly admire those who make initiatives to do more! May we all become such people, insha Allah.
