Salaam.

I'm 18... Considered an adult in Canada.
I know I'm allowed to donate blood to muslims and non-muslims. My Mom encourages this and donates as well.
I also know that if I am healthy at an older age, I am allowed to donate a kidney to a muslim/non-muslim.

What I/she doesn't know...
After death, are you allowed to donate your organs (liver, heart, lungs, cornea, kidneys)?
We aren't alive so wouldn't it be disrespectful to Allah Subhanahuwatallah to take a perfectly good, life-saving organ and let it rot in the ground?
