Assalamo Alaikum
I was playing a game where I am running away from zombies. Zombies go after people and I was avoiding them. When one try to get me, I said in my mind "Why me?" while paying attention to the game.
I kinda shrugged it off and when I thought over, my face went pale you can say. I might have done kufr. It could be waswas or my own thought. I said it in my mind but not my mouth. Have I done kufr?
I know complaining about Allah is kufr but I wasnt angry when I said it in my mind and I might be not saying it directly to Allah. I didnt feel anything negative.
Plz answer and plz dont go asking about the game. I want you guys to focus what I have said in my mind.
JazakAllah Khair

Always have good thoughts about Allah (swt) ...... don't thin He (swt) is always ready to catch and punish His creatures.... Its not like that!

Allah (swt) likes when His beings have good thoughts of Him, so have fear which is good, but hope is absolutely necessary i.e. hoping He will forgive and He will bestow His Mercy over you, that is of utmost importance more than fearing him!

Honestly, this may sound blunt, but how could you think this was kufr? Did you even stop to think if it made a little sense? That by thinking something minor during a video game, you may have committed the worst possible sin that an almighty, all knowing, all merciful creator would possibly throw you into hell for? Really? These kinds of questions get asked on this forum way more than they should, and frankly, it's disconcerting that so many Muslims are so fragile in the way they think about this stuff...

Then again, maybe you're a child, in which case you can disregard the bluntness of the above paragraph and just realize that you should take it a little easier when it comes to these minor things. Accidental thoughts are not kufr. God will likely not punish you for uncontrollable thoughts that come to your mind.
