Angry giraffe chases tourists

A giraffe surprised a group of tourists at a South African game reserve when it charged the car that they were in.

The tourists were busy taking photos of the animal when it suddenly charged the open-top vehicle. One of the tourists managed to capture the chase on video.

The footage shows the giraffe charge the vehicle, eventually pull alongside it and ram the vehicle. The giraffe halted after sideswiping the car and the tourists were able to get back to the game lodge.

Nobody was injured, but the tourists were left badly shaken by the experience.

I had never taken giraffes to be dangerous.....i was standing right next to one a few weeks ago, on a game park visit.

I still dont think that they are.....but it just goes to show, that we can never really know what these wild animals are feeling when they see humans around, and so should not be too trusting!
Im sure this giraffe was just looking for some fun :P (no need to blame the poor animals 'hormones' for this one, i think :P )
