Well, the white house complained about him and called him a Taliban supporter and hey presto, he suddenly became a war criminal from 40 years back along with witnesses and opposition support and was sentenced to death in one of the most flawed and deceitful trials in Bangladeshi history, despite having been the most famous orator in Bangladesh for the last few facades and also a member of parliament for the last few years, didn't they recognise him then?
Hasina had previously mentioned her fear of "religion" in politics obviously because she knew that her alliance with the US and India would require attacks on Islam, which would be thwarted by Islamic political parties, and those parties having political clout and a voice in a 90% percent Muslim country would mean they get the support of the people who don't want the country to be a failed western puppet state,.
So she used police and army to protect the decadent camp which gave her a cloak of "democratic" legitimacy for months on end.
The camp was at a crucial commercial centre and all roads were blocked with the blessing of kafir league, the murtaddeen and munafiqeen students who have been corrupted by atheist brainwashing in college and copious amounts of pornography were free to assemble and party with reports of open sex at the roundabout.
Hefajat e Islam which only formed 2.5 months ago called a rally in Dhaka which was hindered by the fact that the government stopped all transport to the capital the night before,
Then last week it called for a blockade of Dhaka until the government recognised the people's demand for re-in statement of Islam in the constitution amongst 13 points,
Well the government AGAIN stopped all transport and used police and army to seal off the roads to Dhaka and all trains were again brought to a standstill.
500,000 people still managed to respond to a call from a 2.5 month old non-political party on the FIRST DAY of the rally, showing the world where the allegiance of the people really lay.
She didn't like that, nor do i believe the white house liked it. ("democracy")
We were planning to join the rally from sylhet the next day and judging by the initial response millions would have most likely gathered.
Her facade was up and she called on the police, RAB, and border guard to "clear up the protest sight by x o'clock under any circumstances with the permission to open fire,
They gathered atheist drummers who began singing adrenaline rush songs and beating drums, they turned of the electricity, pitch black, many thousands asleep due to the fatigue of the previous day when thousands had to walk into Dhaka, AND MANY PRAYING TAHAJJUD, and then opened fire.
We woke up in the morning and were shocked to the core, everyone was talking about bullet riddled bodies, trucks loaded with bodies which disappeared, and even the photo evidence showed a body count much higher than the official estimate.
Ok, now you might wonder, who is speaking the truth?
Diganto tv who were reporting live at the scene and Islamic networks were all raided that night and their footage and equipment confiscated, pro government media giving different accounts, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the government refrained from giving any account for the next two days, (staying safe while they evaluated the info out there!)
They even went as far as blocking websites.
Ask yourself, why the power blackout duting the shooting and media blackout immediately after if they're not lying?
What do they have to hide???
And do you really believe they chased away 500,000 Muslims after shooting 15?
The police who died were not at the protest but had gone to raid a madrasah in narayangang after fajr prayers, teachers and students resisted and they opened fire, teachers called upon the locals over their mosque loudspeakers and over a hundred people immediately responded, that's when the cops died, when they went to raid a madrasah.
Please bear in mind that hefajat e Islam (protection of Islam) is not a political party and was formed to counter the anti-islamic push we are seeing feom the government and media, the majority of its supporters are just common Muslims who are sick of the kufr being pushed on them.
Ask yourself if you would have believed the locals who were mentioning the torture at abu ghraib or the USraeli government who didn't mention it until the photos came out.
And now that diganto and the indepwndent channels that were there have had their footage confiscated, when will we ever see what happened there?
