View Full Version : "kindness" the awful things that Christians do part 2

As per my previous thread, "Kindness" Christians do the awful things, as I cannot post in there, due to the comparitive religion section being closed-I don't have an issue if this post was added to there, as I cannot guarantee, that I would always be here, I would like to go further;-

I find how the Christians behave "nauseating" as they look for others for intention this is what has happened;-

I think helping others is a good example, when we Muslims give the poor their due we look for our reward from Allah, we do not need to look for the poor people's response at all.

With the Christians - they draw out on people's emotional response-as that is what they are after, even look on TV programmes on Oprah Winfrey, and even doing up people's homes-they rely on people's emotional responses, instead of looking towards God, the end result is making people less of being a Man and a women, to being a snivelling, pathetic looking bunch. Even in Oprah Winfrey's programmes, its a long drawn out discussion on anything that has happened not to help but jump on drawing out people's emotions, to the extent at one point giving out gifts to the audience to a sickly display of those being so awed by her-this what happens when people don't look towards the one God.

So today we even have people who say that they have been seeing a psychologist for many years-wasting people's time, always placing people even for life as the victim. You could not get away with that, if for example you were living in a village-were people have to spend more time working to place food on the table, the focus on taking care of children-it would be embarrassing in the midst of all this you were sitting there expecting people to drop everything and look at you as the focus of attention instead of anything else.

So you see it today, they ask questions like "how much does this mean to you if we do up this house", how much does this mean to you if you were to win all this money" etc. It is not an understatement to say that this is nauseating. +o( This is why you even see people today who want to sing songs saying we want to "move" people. They want people to be looking at them for attention, rather then God. Do they not think, that even in heaven people don't look towards angels for attention but look towards one God, anyone who does not except that there is one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell is not liked by any angel.

This is why we Muslims can appear as more formal-when we give to charity and even pray to Allah, we are grateful ourselves (not relying on others to be grateful to us), that Allah is giving us the time to pray to him, to provide to charity in this world. It is more valuable then anything in this world. The month of Ramadan has passed and we are grateful that we have been able to have had another opportunity to fast.

This is also why the idol worshippers felt threatened as soon as any Prophet came and simply told them of the one God-as they knew they couldn't have the nauseating relationships that they have with people :D -as people would be looking towards the one God. There is no difference in telling people in living in a swamp with you and not telling them to go to a nice lovely island. They tell people to look at each other instead of to the one God-it is an AWFUL thing.

The Christians are of want to look at each other, the Muslims do not treat others like this as we know we are God's servants and look towards God and that no one can help you on the Day of Judgement. We don't go around saying that we are the only ones that have ever helped others, as of course that is what we have been doing, even in countries were there is no "welfare" state.

The Christians are picking and choosing, and that is why they don't mention as much that all these countries round the world will not be in existence when the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him comes back, that only remnants will remain, and it isn't about living in peace for a thousand years-have they no sense-how will they be tested during that time? No Prophet has ever stopped warning about the end of the world and that Prophet Jesus peace be upon him will not be here that long and will be reminding people of the end of the world and during the Gog and Magog's arrival.

It's interesting how you feel you can comment on the intentions and motivations of all Christians, sister h-n. All 2 billion of them. Amazing! :D
I wonder how you know, when none of us know what's in the heart of the next person.
Only God knows!

I have asked the mods to deal with this thread as they see fit.
I find it quite silly and it certainly doesn't belong in the General Section. In my mind it belongs in the bin - but that's for the mods to decide on.

Salaam :)

On second thoughts, perhaps you are only a young kid and I should cut you some slack. Your comments certainly sound very immature ...

There are many Christians who help needy people without expect anything. In another side, there are enough much Muslims who give charity but their hearts are filled by riya (feeling show off).

You would know it if you walk out from your room and see the life in the real world.

Peace to all,

I believe we cannot generalise things too much. At the end of the day it boils down to intentions (removing the faith aspect). We must separate the 'commercial' aspects to things. It has become more and more the case where the situation of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing (with regards to charity) is becoming rare. Most want to publicise their good deeds. It is more 'in' to be seen as being a champion for the 'unfortunate' rather than to donate anonymously. It is just that the West is far ahead in the 'commercial' aspect, the entertainment and financial and legal and so on, with their secularism and 'will' pretty dominant, I wouldn't say that it is Christianity per se as being the cause, it is the people in power at the time, what were they thinking to decide things that set the wheels in motion to be what they are today.

The changes in Christianity allowed the room for this to happen. It was exploited by some ruthless enough to do so. Not to say it does not happen in Islam, but those ruthless people then, as would be now would know wrong then is still wrong now. The laws have hardly changed. Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited, does not mean muslims don't drink, some do! But they know it is wrong and they will answer for it. But they choose to rebel for whatever reason.

For me, I just wish I could convince them that Jesus never died at the cross.
