1. He mentions that Judaism and Christianity are similar to what it is today and at the time of the Prophet. But Allah has already mentioned in the Quran and already differentiated between them, the people of the book who BELIEVE (which means those who accept the one God, the Day of judgement, Paradise and Hell. The word believers are for Muslims too. It is not about them as mentioned in the video receiving similar stories as that clearly means nothing in terms of believers. AS just because God sent you messages in the past as he has done with everyone, doesn't help you when you don't believe.
Allah not only mentions the Christians who are modest, humble who believe in the one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell, but also mentions those who has said he has taken himself a son, and say he is one of three.
5:69 (Asad) for, verily, those who have attained to faith [in this divine writ], as well as those who follow the Jewish faith, and the sabians, [86] and the Christians - all who believe in God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds - no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve.
72. They do blaspheme who say: "(Allah) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.
73. They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.
As per the Quran, God himself is treating the Christians and the Jews differently to those who accept the one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell to those who do not. Idol worshipers are not treated any differently to other idol worshipers such as hindus. Many Jews look for the life of this world, and now even reject Hell.
At the time of the Prophet there is reference to him meeting a Christian man who acknowledged his Prophethood, that Christian himself accepted that there is one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (as an idol worshipper could not recognise a Prophet) also at the time of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, there were Jews who confirmed what was said, ie even a Jewish woman talking about being tortured in the graves to one of his ex-Jewish companion.
So reading the Quran, one can see that Allah is displeased with one and not the other, why would anyone come to the conclusion that marrying the ones that do not BELIEVE is acceptable?? When you know full well that Allah is displeased in them. Even Allah tells the Muslims about questioning the Women converting to Islam. Allah is not going to tell you its OK to marry those who displease him.
In the video he also mentions that if you marry a Christian women you can't stop her from going to a church and praying to Prophet Jesus peace be upon him, this would not even come up as per Allah telling us that there are the people of the book that are BELIEVERS of Allah. Frankly that's just a wrong thing to tell people (are they saying that it would be OK for the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to marry a Christian who says that Prophet Jesus peace be upon him is God and continue to go to church and pray to Prophet Jesus peace be upon him-and even keep statues of Mary and the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him at their home, whilst he, Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is giving the message of God to the people? No -It isn't acceptable, also that the jewish woman who married the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him accepted he was the Prophet of God, she did not say, I don't believe that you are), you wouldn't be in that position, we can't stop people from choosing what they wish to do, as this is what Allah has allowed for them to do in this world to be tested, but for Muslims who want to be blessed in life and in the hereafter, want their homes to be blessed would remove themselves from idol worship.
