Assalamu Alaikum,
I am a new muslim convert. I am having trouble finding stores that sell clothings for muslim woman. There are no stores in my area and in the surrounding area.
I am looking for help getting the proper clothing that I should wear. I dont feel right just wearing a regular scarf. Its my wish and dream to feel like a real muslim woman. I feel that if I could get proper clothing, I will finally feel like a real muslim woman.
What I am looking for is Hijabs ( More than one and would really like the colors black, blue or white) I am also looking for Abayas and other clothing for muslim woman. Like winter abayas sense it is getting colder and also spring abayas and also muslim sport wear for woman and a jacket for summer and winter. Just basic muslim woman clothing ( Modest Islamic Clothing ) and maybe muslimah prayer outfit. I cant order the clothing online sense dont do credit cards.

I could really used some help. It has been hard the last few months. I have been trying real hard to find stores that sell what i need and have had no luch so far.
I would be grateful if someone could possibly help me out by maybe giving me some hijabs and abayas and modest islamic clothing for free.. would really help this sister out very much and make me feel welcome. I am not one to ask for help, i figure that i would give it a try. Insha Allah

thanks so much

amina

Wa alaykum salam. Congratulations on your decision to embrace Islam. And welcome to the forum.

Hope someone can help or direct you about your request. However, I think you should first let them know the area where you live. Country and city will be enough I guess.

Walakum Salam sister what area do you live in?? Please know sister that if you are in the states go to walmart.. and i know you say you do not like to wear a regular scarf but if you wear it as a hijab… it is no longer a scarf.. :) but a Hijab. it is all in how you look at it. i wanted to put the link to where i get my hijabs from but since i am new that is not allowed.

Please also talk to the sisters there in the masjid around you .. as the sisters there should be more then happy to help you.. but they will never know unless you ask them for help.. I do know you can also go to your Imam and ask and you will probably get more then you will ever need.

Congratulations on your religion change. And you can easily get dresses you are looking for at EastEssence. I've always preferred that place for my clothing needs. They have all types of Islamic Clothes available with them and that too at such discounted prices.
