This is something you are not alone in at all...
... you know, I used to get depressed, or cheesed off, angry even - when I saw TV Shaikhs screaming down the microphone, tearing the speakers, making the audio quality inaudible, and when it was audible, I heard them talk rubbish... it's really frustrating that these so called shaikhs have forgotten what adhaab is.
And their intellect needs serious revision, do they not realise that they are being filmed for TV? they don't need to shout :D the world will hear them even if they whisper :D
It's things like this that put me off listening to these "scholars for the dollars".
Instead, I listen to eminent personalities that have a proven record of Islamic Academia behind their belts, speakers such as Hamza Yusuf Hansen and Habiib Ali Al Jifri, stick with these two for now, and I believe your depression will take a back seat in sha Allah.
