...and WHO IS ISIS?
Hollywood Actor - Sean Penn exposes Bush and Cheney as co-conspirators who seeded ISIS in Iraq and Syria... scoop
While appearing on the TBS show "Conan," actor Sean Penn claimed Wednesday that former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney "created" ISIS, the terror group that has taken large areas of Iraq and Syria. The claim, however, runs counter to a CBS News investigation that traced ISIS' roots to a U.S. military prison in Iraq at least two years after Bush left office.
"These are the guys, he and President Bush and some others, who invented Daesh, or ISIS,” he said, referring to Cheney, the Republican liberals refer to as "Darth Vader." “I mean, they really are that which created it, and so I wanted to give him a shout-out," he told Conan O'Brien. "Thanks for that.”
Penn isn't the first liberal to blame Bush for the current situation in Iraq. Last year, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., blamed Bush despite the fact that Obama released the man who now runs the organization in 2009. Penn also conveniently forgot that Bush warned of a group like ISIS forming in 2007 if the U.S. pulled out of Iraq too soon. That warning, unfortunately, went unheeded by Obama.
But Penn wasn't finished with his hateful tirade against Cheney. Referring to the former vice president as an "embittered bacteria of humanity,” he wondered how the Wyoming Republican could still be alive after suffering from heart disease.
“It’s always a surprise to me to remember that, through bionic technology and so on, this guy’s still here,” he added. “We have people like Harvey Milk, who were beautiful, brilliant, impactful guys, and, you know — it’s just no good deed goes unpunished, and then you’ve got the Cheneys. This is just me musing.”
But Penn's hateful "musings" are not uncommon among the left. As we have reported several times, liberal hatemongers have repeatedly wished death on Cheney. In 2012, for example, liberals wished death on Cheney even as he was recovering from heart transplant surgery.
The hatred wasn't limited to social media. Last year, a New York Times writer wondered if it would be okay to torture Cheney after an appearance on NBC's Meet The Press.
"So if we have reason to think Dick Cheney seeks to destroy our vital values & institutions, at cost of US lives, is it OK to torture him?" tweeted David Dobbs, a writer who also contributes to the far-left wing Slate.
Penn, The Hill added, won an Oscar in 2009 for his portrayal of Milk, the first openly gay person elected to public office in California. He reportedly appeared on "Conan" to promote his latest film, "The Gunman."
In February 2011, we first said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate. Liberals like Penn prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.
