Salam Alaykum brothers and sisters. I am new to Islam, I converted recently and would prefer not to give away too many personal things about myself but I'll provide you with a bit of information about myself. I do not wish to hide my past, so I will be very open with you all about it: I was what many consider to be a White supremacist at one time, but I was always a friend of Islam. I was raised as a Christian, but I've known for years this religion is for me. I had to decide whether I wanted to remain a racist full of hatred or a Muslim full of love. I chose the latter, and I am very happy I did. Thanks for reading and I look forward to posting here and making Muslim friends and learning more about my new religion.

Welcome to the forum

What a choice you decided to make...

You made it sound like it was a 'simple' decision to make (which I'm sure it most probably wasn't). After all, islam is not portrayed by the western media as a religion 'full of love'. You must have have been rather well informed from the beginning.

Wishing you a great stay.

I suppose being a White supremacist made me question the Zionist controlled media and I did a lot of investigating myself. Also, I grew up with some kids from the Middle East and admired the fact that they never tried to convert me, but always answered my questions about Islam and said I'd make a good Muslim. From the age of 5 or 6 I was interested in foreign cultures, different religions, and so forth and by the age of 10 I found myself relating to Islam. It took me a long time to make up my mind, and it wasn't easy..But, I did it. Thanks for the warm welcome. :)

Wa3alaikum salaam.

You sound so smart, and open minded. How does someone like that fall into white supremacy?

Thank you, brother. Well, I was never a typical White supremacist. I always called myself a National Socialist and a White Nationalist. I considered certain races to be inferior, and liked the idea of an all White nation but never hated anyone. I became a well-known and well respected member of Stormfront, and as I gained more trust from the leading people there it became clear to me that the whole "heritage not hate" thing was a lie. When I discovered they weren't about what I was about (just being proud of my race and trying to preserve my heritage) I became uncomfortable. When I became a donating member and gained access to a private forum I realized how truly hate-filled these individuals were and tried to ignore it but couldn't.

To make a very long story short I was involved with the White pride movement for years both in real life and online and my conversion to Islam has made some of my former friends afraid of me which is just ridiculous. What's done is done, and today I can honestly say I'm a proud White Muslim man and I judge people not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Walaikumasalaam

Alhamdulilah for seeing and choosing the truth! May Allah swa keep you guided and increase your love for the deen and the ummah Ameen.

I think Islam creates STRONG emotions for people - either your on the camp of hate or the camp of love - Although some people do have no feelings or views on Islam but the media/music industry does play a huge part in shaping an individuals view...

I hope you have a safe spiritual journey. :statisfie

Am pleased to see your on this forum - May Allah swa keep you protected and safe Ameen & guide your family Ameen
