Is it fair to use questions of Al Ghaib to rationalize an oppression for which there is absolutely no excuse?
Allah knows best what happens and why, however it is our task to try to understand events and learn the best from them.
What would you say if someone harmed you and your family or loved ones without any right or reason and people around you just walked about practising throwing dry roasted peanuts in their mouths and nonchalantly saying, "hey, it's Allah's punishment"?
Please brother, consider, when Shah Jalal ad Din Al Yemeni (ra) heard that Burhanuddin's hands were chopped off for lawfully slaughtering a cow, he didn't nonchalantly claim that it was the punishment of Allah or a purification of sins.......he took his boys down to Sylhet and established the Law of Allah to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, in derogation of whom None has the right to legislate.
Why cover our impotence and helplessness with false rationale?
If you can find a reasonable excuse for the act according to the universal law of Allah (Islam, Quran, Sunnah) please do so.
Otherwise prevent the evil with your hand, tongue, or heart.
:And among men is he who says: We believe in Allah;
but when he is persecuted for the sake of Allah, he thinks the persecution of men to be as the chastisement of Allah.
And if there comes help from thy Lord, they will say: Surely we were with you.
Is not Allah the Best Knower of what is in the hearts of mankind?
Quran, The Spider, 29:10

17.*Has the story reached thee, of the forces
-18.*Of Pharaoh and the Thamud?
19.*And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)!

Quran Al Buruj, Chapter 85
O Allah, to those of us to whom you have given the ability and from whom you expect action by physical force, please chastise us until we stand, though we hope to be able to establish Your Way with ease and not difficulty and not to be made a trial for the ungrateful.
and for those who are weak and incapable (you know best) amongst us, please show your strong hand and assist us, let your jealousy be roused, why should the heedless criminals mock and ask, "where is their God?"
O Allah please make the government of China realise the folly of their actions, and please let them be certain that it is unwise to harm your servants who turn to you.
"Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
