Hello,

The days of the week in the English speaking world are named after pagan deities from a pre-Christian era. Debatably, these gods and goddesses are revered when the days of the week are spoken i.e. Thursday is named after the god Thor, as in Thor's day, and as such Thor is revered by this process. What is the perspective of Muslims on this?

No problem.

Planets in solar system also named after pagan gods and goddess, but Muslims do not think they need to call these planets with other names.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. :)
