بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Selam Alekum

I was curious to know if a sick person has a obligation to
offer Salah like a non sick person. One of the biggiest reason
that I wanted to know this is because I have a family member
thats over 50 years old, who is living with diabetes and dialys today.
This person has allways believed in Allah and recites from time to time,
La ilahe ill Allah. I love this person very much and I would like to
learn this person how to pray.

So I looked around and found this:
islamqa.info/en/105356
alifta.net/Fatawa/FatawaChapters.aspx?languagename=en&View=Page&Page ID=34&PageNo=1&BookID=17

According to this if you cannot offer Salah while standing
you may offer it while sitting.
If you cannot offer Salah while sitting
you may offer it while lying on the right side facing the Qiblah.
If you cannot offer Salah while lying on the right side
you may offer it while lying on the back with the feet towards the Qiblah.

And I also found this:

Now Im wondering is a sick person obligated to offer Salah?
Is this the right way how to offer Salah for a sick person?

In short, yes a sick person is required to pray. An ill person can pray according to his/her ease.
I ask Allah to make it easy on your loved one, and to guide and accept their worship, Ameen.

The video you linked pretty much outlined it. The link does not work.
