I'm muslim and I'm very supportive of left-wing(socialist ideas). Do you think it's okay to have these beleifes but remain muslim at the same time?

I don't think I can overcome that.

I'm a believer of the fact that all systems in place are derivatives of the teachings of the Books if not modified or a total reactionary to knowingly or unknowingly lead us astray from God's Law.

So these systems would have some elements of God's laws in them and no doubt drawing people to choose from them.

So we are then given a choice. Notice how the only way (following Quran and the sunnah) is not from amongst the list?

And we have over a billion Muslims.. sigh...

I think the best period for muslims in my country was under socialism, both spiritually and material. So I have a big symphaty for it unlike todays "muslim society" that's more for rich people that pretend to be muslims, but in reality they are not(true muslims). That system kinda combined with religion and it's moral standards.I think you should read a book or search about life in SFRY, it was peaceful and moral with belief in God, it wasn't forbbiden. But not too many people were righteous, guess that's the reason why it divided in aftermath.

But it's clearly a fact that muslim bourgeoise forgot muslim society today, and in society they are the ones that preach Islam the most, but in reality they are just others.

Not all people with wealth are the same, just as not all people in poverty are the same.

It's kinda pointing out the obvious.. But if you lose sight of it then any group can be persecuted.

Although i agree, Irresponsibly is something which should be looked down upon..

Money, influence, status, position, reputation, knowledge.. Whatever.

Although rarely in a position to judge.

Allah swt knows best.
