Muslim mother with her baby pushed into middle of the road onto oncoming traffic!

****Make sure you tell all the family be carful even local.. Someone just picked up their daughter from noor ul islam school in Leyton and the sister in front of her waiting at the traffic lights outside leyton leisure lagoon with her baby in a buggy got pushed in the middle of the road on to on coming traffic by some mix race guy in he's 20s.. Times are are not the same!!!

Alhamdulillah the car manage to stop just in time and both mother and baby was ok. Make dua for the ummah for ease and security.!!!!****

In light of recent events, I think we all will agree that safety in public is a growing issue. Things we should keep in mind:

[emoji95] Sisters - avoid travelling on your own unless you really have to - make sure someone checks in on you regularly and keep to well-lit public paths. If you feel a sense of danger, recite Ayat al-Kursi and take a detour into a shop/pretend you're visiting a home.

[emoji95] Do not retaliate to abuse (especially the youth/younger men).

[emoji95] Brothers around sisters on public transport/public places - just be aware and make sure they aren't being abused.

[emoji95] If you see something strange happening, do not assume it's nothing and take action (not by violence). Do not be another bystander - take a stand by reporting the case.

[emoji95] At this time it's more important than ever before to consciously make an effort to show Muslims in a good light - do not let emotions overcome you.

[emoji95] Remember the power of du'a and keep in mind that indeed after hardship, there is ease.

[emoji95] Please brothers and sisters, let's put aside our differences and unite at this difficult time in'sha'Allah.

[emoji95] Everyone just be careful, cautious and extra vigilant when going out.

Stay Safe!
