O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.

[Qur'aan 2:153]

Seek help by means of prayer and patience.

And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.

[Qur'aan 42:30]

Seek forgiveness for your sins

Do good deeds as the good deeds wipe out the bad ones

And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.

[Qur'aan 11:114]

Recite the following to keep yourself save from the evil eye

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and say: "Your forefather (i.e. Abraham) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ishmael and Isaac by reciting the following: 'O Allah! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye.' "

[Sahih Al-Bukhaari Hadith No. 3371]

Protect yourself against magic

Recite Soorah Al-Falaq and Soorah Al-Naas

Protect yourself against evil destiny

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Take refuge with Allah from the difficulties of severe calamities, from having an evil end and a bad fate and from the malicious joy of your enemies."

[Sahih Al-Bukhaari Hadith No. 6616]

Make sincere duaa' to Allah to ease your pain and suffering

If you have wronged a person, ask them to forgive you

Increase your good deeds

Indeed, when a rank has been decreed for a slave by Allah which he does not reach by means of his deeds, Allah puts him into trials in respect to his body, wealth, and children. Then He gives him patience on that until he reaches the rank which Allah has decreed for him.

Tirmidhi narrated that Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas rz.a said: I said: “O Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), which of the people are most severely tested?” He said: “The Prophets a.s., then the next best and the next best. A man will be tested in accordance with his level of religious commitment. If his religious commitment is strong, he will be tested more severely, and if his religious commitment is weak, he will be tested in accordance with his religious commitment."
