I like ballet and I want to know if it's haram. I searched for an answer but I didn't get a specific one. I do ballet at home, in my room. I don't take classes I just practice at home from watching videos. I'm not going to dance for anyone or anything that would make it haram. So if I do it at home is it permissible?

Wasal

Ballet dancing is a western form of erotic dance. It has severe long term harms on the toes and foot in particular. It's meant for entertainment and show.

Whilst it wouldn't be a problem to silently practice it at home, but there are more practical and decent ways of doing exercise and keeping fit. .... not inspired by the morally bankrupt west whose aim is to only put women on display... For men to ogle at.
