Being jealous of someone means that we are not contented with what we have been blessed by Allah in this world. Within a while, you tend to deny every blessing and start burning yourself in the fire of envy that not only divert you from the righteous path but also destroys your good deeds within no time.

Greetings and peace be with you Muqeet Ahmed; and welcome tot he forum,

I spent some time with a man of about fifty, who had been homeless for about five years. He said that every night when he has found somewhere to sleep, he finds several things to thank God for, his food, somewhere to wash, his shelter, and the people he has met. This is a man who carries his home in a bag, I sensed that this was how he managed to find some kind of peace and joy in his troubled and uncertain life.

He taught me a profound lesson in striving to be content and thankful with what we have.

In the spirit of praying for justice for all people
