My friend received a proposal from guy who belongs to shia sect. The girl is sunni, can she marry the shia guy? If yes, post down authentic fatwas or websites. Thank you.

:salam:

A Sunni female is not allowed to marry a Shia man, because it is prohibited and the marriage will be invalid. Also, Shia have beliefs that contain Kufr and are not part of Ahl al Sunnah. She must only marry a Sunni man like her.
