In short, they don't lack money, they lack a positive attitude and creativity

Assalaamu alaikum,

Mmm... Certainly, there are some poor people like this. But I question whether all people are poor because they lack a positive attitude and creativity. This rather suggests that there is nothing that massively wealthy people like Jack Ma could do for the poor of the world... because it's all their own fault. Frankly, I've also met wealthier people who lack a positive attitude and creativity, but they seem to do pretty well. (drily) Having wealth, opportunities and good social connections seem to have helped the ones I know.

(mildly) And there is also hubris in this statement... there is the suggestion that the wealthy do so well because of their own great qualities. (mildly) And I do not believe this. Everything we have (or don't) is a Gift from Allah, and a test. Yes, we need to put our efforts in. But then, it is in God's Hands what will happen. And great and hardworking people may see little pay-off in this life, and others tested through wealth may see much in this life.

(quietly) And in the end, we all die. And all that we amass... we cannot take with us. Only our deeds and efforts and intentions.

May Allah, the Irresistible, Guide us in this life... that we be successful in the Next.

Jack Ma, about why poor people difficult to leave their poverty.

– Give them free, they think it’s a trap.

– Tell them it’s a small investment, they’ll say can’t earn much.

– Tell them to come in big, they’ll say no money.

– Tell them to try new things, they’ll say they are not sure it will work.

– Tell them it’s traditional business, they’ll say hard to do.

– Tell them it’s a new business model, they’ll say it’s MLM.

– Tell them to run a shop, they’ll say it robs them of freedom.

– Tell them run new business, they’ll say they have no expertise.

(What Jack Ma said on what they have in common)

– They love to ask google, but do nothing with what they learnt from google

– They listen to friends who are as hopeless as them,

– They think more than an university professor and do less than a blind man.

– Just ask them, what can they do. They won’t be able to answer you.

(Jack Ma advice to “poor people")

My conclusion and advise to poor people:

Instead of your heart beating faster, why not you just act faster a bit;

Instead of just thinking about it, why not start doing something about it.

Instead of looking for handouts, why not learn and WORK HARD at getting the things done by yourself Poor people fail because of one common behaviour: Their Whole Life is About Waiting.

Which of these traits are you exhibiting, think big and get out of the “Poor People” club….You can achieve whatever you set your mind to.
