7.9 Earthquake Jolts Indonesia!

Allah bring mercy to Indonesia as a 7.9 earthquake just shook the land. It came almost 2 hours ago and their are some fatalities reported.

Thanks for your attention, sister. I live in Bandung, Java island, while the earthquake epicentrum was in Indian ocean like shown in the picture.

The earthquake itself causes only little damage on Mentawai Island and west shore of Sumatera. There's no report of victim. But what made people afraid was potense of tsunami. Alhamdulillah, tsunami doesn't happen.

There's no victim, Alhamdulillah. And the earthquake caused only little damage because the epicentrum was far in the ocean. However, it caused panic among people who live in seashore areas because this earthquake potential to cause tsunami. So they rushed left their homes to go to higher areas.

Indonesian people are trauma with tsunami that hit Aceh in 2004 and took more than 130,000 lives only in Aceh alone.
