View Full Version : What generally slips out of your tongue?

A lot of us Muslims think it will be VERY EASY to say the Shahaadah when they die.

So many of us think it will be a PIECE OF CAKE!

Really.....will that be the case??

Are we going yo be able to declare the Shahaadah with such ease??

Let us take an acid test: -

# When we fall down or trip, what comes out of our mouths?
# When we drop something & it breaks, what do we say?
# When our child spills all their food on the floor/carpet, what do we say?
# When someone overtakes us or cuts across our way, what do we say?
# When someone takes our parking spot, what do we say?

On such trying occasions, are we calm and composed and say :

'Alhamdulillah'
'Astaghfirullah
'La ilaha ill Allah'
or
'Subhaan Allah'

OR

Do we say "Whoops"
"Yikes"
"Oh Sugar".
" ****"

OR

Do we start swearing uncontrollably?
Do we use a foul word? Or resort to curses?
Yeh.... not so surprising after all??

We don't even give a second thought?

So in this Dunya whilst we are 100% awake & alert we find that we cannot control our tongues, the first thing that rolls out of our tongues is most probably a SWEAR word or condemnation!

SO...... HONESTLY......
WHAT MAKES US THINK WE WILL SAY THE SHAHAADAH WHILE WE ARE IN THE VERY PAINFUL THROES OF DEATH, TAKING OUR FINAL BREATHS, SEEING THE ANGEL OF DEATH?

So let's get started and set a good example.

Everytime something happens, GOOD OR BAD, let's make sure the words of Allah roll of our tongues IN ALL SITUATIONS.......

May Allah grant us a peaceful painless death with the Shahaadah on our tongues and lips....Ameen!

Lol last night on the way home the car in front slowed I say careful seems like an accident already happened here there is still glass on the floor.

The opposing lights change and we are stranded in the wrong lane waiting to turn right.

...an oncoming car approaches, does not slow and literally turns the opposing right at the last second.

...I clenched my buttocks and thought, I'm going to batter the *"'% out of that guy.

:|

...maybe I have lived this life with misplaced confidence.

But I will never forgive him... Thrones opposing are a hard thing to find.
