I don't know what's wrong with me nowadays.. Recently I've been highly introverted, feeling very sensitive and really really really down. I know forum ain't a diary but something is wrong with me and I don't know what. Memorising Quran is becoming difficult for me too.. Normally I am able to memorise a lot in a day and now I'm struggling.. I don't know if it's coz of stress as hifz is getting harder or if it's because I'm too into dunyah I don't know, it makes me sad. I don't even like socialising anymore.. I just wanna hide somewhere and cry. Just feeling extremely down.

Like really really really down. I wish I could find out what it is but I don't know. I'm scared about my hifz

i just wanna stay under my blankie and cry. Why do I feel like this when there's no reason to be down? I guess part of it is coz of hifz, I'm really really worried and also just annoyed at the world for some reason

Assalamu Alaykum,

Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by everything that you are facing? Maybe taking a short break will relieve your mind slightly. I suggest discussing it with someone you trust, an elder sibling, your mother or father, a teacher - something just saying your concerns out loud to someone and having them listen to you puts you at so much ease. Make lots and lots of dua - must be a bit redundant of me to say it but dua is so powerful.

I haven't got much to say, sis. Just strive on and be strong - doing a hifz course is great ma'shaAllah, think of all the barakah in it.

May Allah SWT make it easy for you.

Take bite size steps to your goals everyday :).

Hifz can sometimes feel overwhelming. No matter what happens just keep moving forward, if your feeling down then just memorize one small ayah. Just don't stop.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah :saws: said, “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few.”
Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 4240

"...So persevere patiently: for the End is for those who are righteous."
(Surah Hud, 49)

"Say I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, The King of mankind, (and) The God of mankind. From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, of jinn and men"
(al-Naas 114)

Yh of course, do that. I was actually doing it myself but then my dad insisted that my brother do it on me. Keep it constant though, like don't do it only once.

Khayr in shaa Allah
