O Allaah, I seek refuge in you from the evil of what I hear, from the evil of what I see, from the evil of what I speak, from the evil of what I think, and from the evil of my sperm.

al-Iraqi commented on this:
"If the Prophet :saws: himself sought refuge from lust, then who after him can take this matter lightly!?"

:jz: A very useful reminder for every young Muslim and indeed their parents whose responsibility it is to guide them in the ways of Islam. If the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to seek refuge in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaa from these evils, then it would be foolish not to do likewise.
In sha'Allah I will encourage my teenage sons to use this supplication whenever they need protection from misusing any of the organs of their body (whether eyes, mouth, heart, or whatever), and need to remind themselves to use them only for their proper purpose in order to gain the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaa.
