I have heard this from a lot of people, where simply reading the Quran connected with them at a level where they instantaneously felt that a question was answered, or a problem was solved, or the meaning of life became clear etc. Has the Quran ever spoken to you? is it a supernatural phenomenon or simply what devout people feel?

It speaks to anyone who will read the Qur'an with the sincere intention of searching for the truth.

It has happened to many people prior to reverting to Islam, they would open the Qur'an and would feel as if it is directly addressing them. I believe Muhammad Asad wrote about such an experience in his autobiography, I'll post it here when I find it inshaAllah.

Whenever you read the Qur'an, it somehow applies to whatever you are experiencing, or provides comfort in some way, or gives an example from the lives of the Prophets (AS) which can be learnt from.

I am not sure but I think this quality is an aspect of the i'jaz or inimitability of the Qur'an?
