Asalamualykum,
Does anyone know Quranic Arabic and if yes are you residing in the UK?
I am looking for a sister who can teach me the basics.
I can read Quranic Arabic but don't understand the meaning.
Please help.
Jazahka Allah.

Walaikumasalaam and jazahka Allah for replying.
Sadly i don't have enough hours in the day to commit myself to a full-time arabic course just yet.
I did enrol but found i couldn't concentrate enough and i was late for the online classes.
So am just trying to pick up a few words and the basics through telephone conversations.
In sha Allah that will give me a foundation and then in a year's time i can advance to a full-time course. In sha Allah....

If you already learned the basics, you can continue learning on Aljazeeras website for arabic.
Every day they add new short texts (mostly from the news).
I can't add links but its is called
learning . aljazeera

Assalamu Alaikum
You can pick a surah that has daily terms that we use, for example ones that include moon, stars, sun, over, under, up, down, water, friends, etc. and use flashcards to memorize them. Go through the quran and mark words that you don't know and learn their roots.
Any course in Arabic basically requires time for memorization, since you can already read, you just need to learn the meanings so take 20 mins of your day and just memorize key words in a surah using flashcards or apps like quizlet.

As-salaam Alaikum sister,
I've enrolled myself at
http://www.bayyinah.tv/. It has helped me correct my pronunciation and I'll be starting with Quranic Arabic soon, Insha'Allah.
Just 30-45 mins/day and the feeling of blessedness, Alhamdulillah! :)
I hope and pray that you find something that suits your needs.
