I'm currently a student of accounting and finance and one of my teachers stressed on The fact that accounting and finance profession as it involves speculation and interest in it is haraam so I can't understand that, all the economies of the world are based on interest and its part of the system so how can one avoid it ! Furthermore does that mean an finance professional is same in the context of Islam as an actor or singer who is clearly categorized as haraam? Pls explain brothers I'm in great distress abt this

Accounting profession: most transactions in the west involve riba , and Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam cursed the giver; taker and even the one recording and witnessing the transaction.

Rather specialise in tax law or something else .... something not involving riba
