Assalamu Alaykum,

Well I have heard that it is fardh to read salah from the age of puberty, isn't it? I only began reading salah when I was around 14-15 years old :( I know it is a bit late to be thinking this three years later but do I need to make up for all of the prayers I missed for four years? I suppose I could read one extra fardh with all of my prayers for a few years?

Also, is it wrong if there is a mosque nearby and I do not go? I was told I should go but I don't like the environment in the mosque that much, it has a very unwelcoming atmosphere and I can concentrate much better from within my own home Alhamdulillah.

JazakAllahu khayr

Wa'alaykumas salam

I was going to type something but then I thought this provides a detailed answer https://islamqa.info/en/111783

About your second question, it's best for a woman to pray in her house, though there is nothing wrong in going to the mosque.
