Romance & Love
When I talk to you,
There are small butterflies in my stomach
I sometimes try to catch my breath
You hold me in your arms and I regain my balance
I fall for you many times a day,
You pick me up and give me more love than I deserve
Your mercy
Your guidance
Your love is unconditional
I am never alone, because you are always there
A single breath away
When I need you
You guide me and do not despise me
You are the last one I think of before I sleep
In my dreams, I hold you close
I never want to let you go,
The love I have for you provides me with the most assurance
I trust no one, but you because you have seen the most intimate side of me
You know me more than I know myself,
Forever yours,
:statisfie

Would Allah be considered a spouse? The poem was for Allah [emoji39][emoji39][emoji39][emoji28][emoji28]

Still, it's a beautiful poem :ma:.
Loving Allah is the ultimate goal :).
May Allah grant us spouses who bring us closer to the love of Allah.

Anyone who loves someone should love them for the sake of Allah SWT. Such a love would immediately become so beautiful and pure :Emoji2: Love devoid of God just becomes a worldly attachment, surely?
Beautiful poem, ma'sha'Allah :)

And yes all love should be for the sake of Allah. It helps ensures there is respect, kindness, forgiveness and mercy from each spouse
May الله bless us with these kind of spouses!

Allah has no spouse.. Audhu billah.
We have to realise our relationship with Allah is on a slave-master level. Our Lord loves us soo much, tho. :) Alhamdulillah.
Don't start to make weird things up. We are slaves of Allah.

Slaves do not love their master. They only follow their master because they would be beaten up or to follow the master. I do not see الله as my master in that way otherwise my love for him would not be real and neither would be my respect. Also there is no compulsion in religion. So how can my love for الله be like the slave for his master?
Also not saying الله is my spouse [emoji33][emoji28][emoji28] but that I love him. Lol

Obv, the way you see slave-maste level is not the way I see it. I love my Lord Allah.
I am not comparing the slave-master of this to our relation with Allah.
Just got worried when you said spouse.

Hahahaha no no. It's because farhan said spouse and I wondered if it sounded like I was speaking to a spouse and not to الله [emoji15][emoji5][emoji5][emoji39]

Beautiful.
But I think the title is mislading, i.e. the word "Romance".
I don't think we should use the word romance for Allah, but use the word Love for Allah.
The word Romance is more suitable for spouses only!
My opinion!
(Perhaps that's why some people got mislead thinking the poem was for spouse)

*insert laugh* Mahahaha! Yes, I think it was misleading now that I think about it imsad
But maybe I'm thinking about romance differently >_>;
Like a love that is always being renewed! Isn't that what romance is? Always looking forward to talk to Allah! :rollseyes

You might think anything about romance, but the society thinks of it as something to do with a partner (bf-gf or spouse generally)
