Arrogance, Greed and Envy

THREE MUST-AVOID SINS

All transgressioons results from THREE matters!

Firstly, arrogance. It was arrogance that caused Iblis to reject the worship of Allah.

Secondly, desire and greed. It was desire that caused our father Adam to eat from the tree, for he desired eternal life.

Thirdly, envy. It was envy that caused one of the sons of Adam to kill his brother, for his jealousy led him to that crime.

A rejection of Allah (kufr) typically emanates from the first.

And personal sins (ma'asi) typically emanate from the second.

And trampling over the rights of others (dhulm) typically emanates from the third.

---- And whoever manages to purify his heart from these three will manage to purify his life from all harm.
