Q: How do you bring back that "madly in love feeling?"

1) Do what you did at the beginning.
What actions did you do that brought out the best in you and the best and move loving response from your husband? How did you greet him? Speak to him? Treat him? Honor him? How excited were you to do those things, and see his approving smile?

2) Get curious.
There is so much to learn about your husband right here and right now. That in love feeling begins because things are new, but there are always new things to discover, talk about, and reveal about yourself and to learn about him in your marriage. Curiosity generates spark.

3) Stay in your feminine
Feminine energy creates an invitation for masculine energy to show up. Spark happens when you have two different forces being drawn towards each other. Step out of the "controlling house wife" energy, or the energy of acting like your husband's second mother, and be his opposite in a way that draws out of him the energy you are attracted to.

4) Show gratitude.
It's easy to take your husband for granted, but once upon a time you may have spent day and night making du'a for him to materialize in your life. Thank Allah for him, ask Allah to guide you as a wife, and to keep your marriage filled with love, happiness, intimacy, and joy. Gratitude keeps your intentions fresh and your heart on the look out for acts of love.

Alhamdulilaah if you have true love for the person, that feeling never goes away.
