In a casino? Bellydancers? Doesn't sound good at all. Definitely not a place any practicing or knowledgeable muslim would go to. Afaik.

@LaSorcia looks real, I also saw it around social media.

Ramadan is a starting point for you to become a better Muslim.

Make dua that this Ramadan you are the improved version of your self than last Ramadan. Eid isn't a time to return back to our bad habits and how we were before.

May Allah :swt: protect us all. Ameen.

That event created to provoke Muslims.

Assalaamu alaikum,

I agree with Ardianto. I checked the official Casino website. The phone number given is correct, but there is no mention of an Eid party. This seems to be designed to rile people up.

May Allah, the Great, Protect us from those who would cause mischief.

Wa'alaikumsalam.

People can hire a room for an event, but lie to the room owner. They say they will hire for event like this, but in fact for event like that. It sometime happen in my place.

I am not sure if Grosvenor Casino Bradford involved in this provocation. Grosvenor casino probably just being cheated like that, or probably those people actually never hire a room in Grosvenor casino.

It's probably real. There must be a lot of Muslims who visit that casino and the people who work there are capitalizing on the demographic.

Will people calm down and stop getting so excited.

There are 3 betting shops in the town I work in and they are frequented by Muslim men in shalwar kabeez and beards.

New age Muslims are worse than non believers.

The people who live next door had dancers and drummers at two of their family weddings. They are Muslim too.

There is a cinema in Bradford city centre and when they have 2 4 1 tickets on Tuesday all the aunties and hijabi sisters come out if full forceful watch Bollywood movies.

Calm down people and stop getting so excited. It's only belly dancers in a casino.

So it's a BIG matter? What are you going to do? Sort them all out.

People are corrupt. They do what they like. You can't stop them can you.

Islam says heaps of things which loads of people do the opposite of. Nothing new here.

So does that mean we stop advising them? We stop telling them it is wrong?

Your attitude brother is very wrong towards this. It is a MUST in Islam that we tell people they are doing wrong! This is FARDH on every Muslim!

Sabr for President of the world.

You can sort everyone out.

Everybody in our community and area know about all the wrong things that happen including Imams but no one does a thing, so sorry but I am not going to out and tell people what they are doing wrong.

And I was not being mean above. I was simply stating facts. That is what some Muslims are like these days.

Aren't you the person who was going to suicide because of some noisy neighbors?

SubhaanAllaah yet you have time to be sarcastic and make fun of others who are trying their utmost to follow their religion?

Maybe this is why you are being tested, because you make fun of people who try to follow their religion.

I am not running for president or any other silly thing - I am merely doing what Muhammad :saws: has advised us.

"The perfect way to end your Eid celebrations"

Spend a whole month fasting and getting in touch with your spiritual side only to walk into a casino and watch a bunch of belly dancers. Yep, perfect way to end your Eid celebrations for sure. No way this is real..

My non-Muslim friend worked as waiter in a bar. One day two bearded Saudi men who wore kafiyeh came to the bar and order whiskey. My friend wonder and spontaneously he asked them "but, sir, isn't whiskey haram for you?". And my friend being scolded, "that's not your business!, just bring the whiskey here!".

Those Saudi Muslims knew that drink whiskey is haram, but they still drank it. Not different than Muslims who are betting. They know that betting is haram, but they still do it.

So, should we tell people who already know?. It's better if we guide people who haven't fall into haram things, to not fall into haram things.

I think someone is being naughty. Does this sign actually exist or is it photo shopped?

I have seen posters for this casino and they specialise in tribute bands. They have loads of promotional material in the train station.

It kind of smells of the English Defence League to me. But who knows. It could be genuine.

:salamext: brother

Even if they know - it is still OUR DUTY to remind them and try and stop them. The rest is up to them, but we have done our duty.

Asalamualykum,

Shaytaan does not deviate Muslims by telling them to leave the religion in one go but he tempts people bit by bit and eventually they are no longer Muslims.

Never think the act you are committing is small because what is small in your eyes may be big in Allah swt eyes.

Also the small sins add up and becomes very weighty.

May Allah swt save us from innovations and haraam acts Ameen.

I have to agree with br hisnameiszzz. Not all Muslims are as religious, pious, traditional etc. like average members in here.

When we go to tell them that this and that is haram, we also should remember to be polite and diplomatic.

The excavation of another person's sins or weaknesses in this context is not a good habit neither a good Islamic manner.

I am assuming this may be some sort of joke in really bad taste.

But Alhamdulillah, we know it is wrong so we should just stay away from things such as this, and if we happen to come across someone involved, then gently advise and warn them - to be too overbearing or harsh would never do anything and most likely have the reverse effect. Most Muslims understand what is forbidden or not, but if even after you advise them they refuse to reason, it is between them and Allah SWT.

If it's fake, ignore it.

If it's real, don't go to it.

Inshallah we need to do our best to stay on the straight path and guide others.

Ouch, that's a low blow, but yes, that was me. And they are not noisy neighbours, they are oppressive!

I am sorry you thought I was being sarcastic, I wasn't. If that's how you interpreted it, I am sorry.

I literally would love to go out and tell all the ones that are doing wrong to behave as it is not Islamic, but I would probably end up with numerous broken noses and broken bones regardless of how nice and polite and diplomatic I was. Why do you think no Imam intervenes when "Muslims" are doing bad things. It's not safe anymore.

Anyway, let's not argue anymore, and I am truly sorry if I upset you. It was not my intention.

Because Imams in this day and age are money grabbing people. They don't have a backbone. Most of them anyway, maybe a few aren't.

But yes - tell people how it is, even if it means getting punched! I have lost friendships over this that have been so many years long, but I don't care because at the end of the day if you are pleasing Allaah then that's it - it doesn't matter if you are pleasing people or not.
