In one of the most beautiful paragraphs that one will read, Shaykh 'Abdul Fattah Abu Ghudda says in praise of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH):

“Ponder over his remarkable cultivation of the Arabs despite their harsh nature, rough kinds, and conflicting moods, and how he led them, put up with their harshness and exhibited patience at their harm, till they finally adhered to him, surrounded him and fought the dearest of people to them; their fathers and relatives, in front of him.

They preferred him over themselves and they immigrated, having left behind their loved ones, their homeland, their tribes and relatives out of obedience to him. They did all of this and much more for him, despite him being unable to read or write, nor had he ever looked into the books of the people of the past, nor had he ever studied the techniques of nurturing a people.

Whoever ponders over this using pure rational will arrive at the conclusion that he was the greatest teacher, the Prophet and Messenger of God, and the greatest of all creation. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.”

(Translated from the book, “The Prophetic teacher & his techniques of teaching)
