Reminder to make dua’a with feelings this Ramadan

· There’s a story of an electronic store that was opening its 150th branch. In order to celebrate this achievement, they announced they will allow one person to enter for 150 seconds (2.5 minutes) when the store first opens and grab whatever he wants. One man was selected for this and he entered with concentration and speed, he knew where to go and where to find the most expensive electronics and brands. He came out with $29,000 worth of electronics with everyone cheering him.
· Now, no one can imagine what great gifts, mercies, blessings, favors, and divine openings are possible in Ramadan, waiting to be taken. How do you want to be from those who are freed from the hellfire if you’re not asking for it and racing for it? You have an acceptable dua’a when you break your iftar, how strongly are you making this dua’a? Do you have feelings in your heart when you’re making it?
· The righteous predecessors would be in great humility for their dua’as and all needs in Ramadan!
· O brother who has been sick for years and who has not been cured yet, make your dua’a with feelings and a present heart!
· The sister who has reached an age where she’s not married yet, make your dua’a with feelings and a present heart!
· The one who has not conceived, make your dua’a with feelings and a present heart!
· The one who’s closed his business or lost his job for the last years or months, make your dua’a with feelings and a present heart!
· The brother who’s been overwhelmed with debt, the sister who’s worried, the mother who’s lost her son or is absent from her life, the young man who’s unable to get married, the man who can’t spend on his household, make your dua’a with feelings and a present heart!
· Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is able to do everything and there is great wisdom when something is withheld from us, but Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) wants our hearts. He wants us to break to Him and attach to Him. Ask Him, you are greatly rewarded for making dua’a and for the feelings of love, hope and fear inside your heart!
· Ramadan is a large market filled with everything, waiting to be taken. The one who put His trust in Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) and makes the effort is bound to come out with great things. There are those who come out with their dua’a answered, those who come out with their necks freed from the hellfire, those who come out with their sins forgiven, and those who have reserved their place in paradise while they are still on this earth!! Subhan Allah. And there are those who unfortunately come out bankrupt and in loss. Any moment you waste in Ramadan then you are the one at loss.
· Ask Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) for everything you want from the duniya and akhira and look forward to these moments in your sujood, between the adhaan and iqamah, in the last third of the night.. speak to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), tell Him what you want, complain only to Him!
· There are people who were in problems that baffle the mind and are so complicated but they came out with a solution because of making dua’a in Ramadan. Now you understand why the caller calls and says, ‘O seeker of good, come forth (يا باغي الخير أقبل)’ and now you understand ‘may a man be humiliated upon whom Ramadan enters and passes, before he is forgiven’ (وَرَغِمَ أَنْفُ رَجُلٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَمَضَانُ ثُمَّ انْسَلَخَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُغْفَرَ لَهُ).

May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) put barakah for us this Ramadan. May He free us from the hellfire and shower us with His mercies, blessings, forgiveness, and vast provision. May He make us reach Laylat Al Qadr and write for us the greatest rewards. Ameen.
