The first I’ve loved, I’ve kept in mind
While searching for others upon my departure, to Georgia up above,
Which led me straight to you, for I have never loved another
Except when they were you
Or others just like you,
when we were blank slates and had on our shoulders much less weights
And played and joked and dreamed of adulthood, only to be parted by God and father once we hit teenhood

Whose shouts of “ew!” made for giggles, and whose smile and stare of shiningstars, made me wiggle…..wiggle in my seat…..
