There are two mosques known as ''Umayyad Mosque'' in Syria. There was a thread where someone posted a video of the Umayyad Mosque in Aleppo and asked how Imam Mahdi can descend to the white minarette if it was destroyed in the civil war. I was about to write that the minarette destroyed in the civil war 2012 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_...rian_Civil_War) was that of the Umayyad mosque in Aleppo, but the thread was closed. I created this topic just to show the difference of the two masajid.
