In Islam do we believe in the term 'what goes around comes around' and karma?

There is Islam, submission and obedience to Allah, repentance for mistakes, the guidance and grace of Allah.
For those who reject the truth and refuse to repent to Allah and refuse to walk along Allah's just path, the best method to apply is karma, the concept of karma is mentioned in numerous places in the Quran.
The believing man warns the people of Pharaoh in surah azZukhruf, Allah warns the children of Israeel in surah al israa, and Allah mentions it various times in the interaction of those who plotted against the truth when Allah sent 'Eesa the first time.

There was also in the past a Prophet called Dhu al Kifl - the brother with the ultimate echo echo. :)

66:6.*O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.

66:7. "O rejecters of Allah! Make no excuses this Day!
You are only being but requited for all that ye did!

66:8.*O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things.
66:9.*O Prophet! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed).
66:10.*Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!
66:11.*And Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong";
66:12.*And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).

From Quran, Surah At-Tahreem Ch 66

{31*074:031*Khan:

And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Qur'an is the truth as it agrees with their Books i.e. their number (19) is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and the believers may increase in Faith (as this Qur'an is the truth) and that no doubts may be left for the people of the Scripture and the believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say: "What Allah intends by this (curious) example?" Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning) reminder to mankind.

From Quran Surah Al Muddatthir, Ch 74

18.*That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.
19.*(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you:
if ye return (to the attack), so shall We.
Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied:
for verily Allah is with those who believe!

Yes I believe, but karma is too simple a concept and broad sweeping to be agreed with entirely.

For example, Allah may test your resolve and puts you through some trying times might be construed as karma to some, but it is not or Allah withholding something from you despite your efforts, for reasons known to Him only..(maybe it is not good for you)..

The concept of "what goes around comes around" does exist in Islaam. Rasoolullaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

كما تدين تدان

"What you do to others will be done to you."

If a person ill-treats his parents, for example: if he one day marries and has children, his children will ill-treat him.

Those who live by the sword, die by the sword, etc.

Thanks to Abz000 for that post, stern warnings in the Qur'an for those who disbelieve.

Gangsters who go around killing people generally don't die on a bed; they get gunned down in the street.

I know that from experience. One of my students was a gangster.

May Allaah Ta`aalaa forgive him and have mercy upon him, and enter him into Jannah, Aameen.
