بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

This thread is dedicated to the lectures of Shaykh Ahmad Jibreel حفظه الله, a man I think is from among the most knowledgeable and sincere `Ulamaa alive today. Those who have benefited from his lectures will agree with my saying he is a "Gem" among the scholars alive today. There are millions of "scholars" in the world, but some stand out much more than others.

Shaykh Ahmad Jibreel has been granted an oceanic knowledge of Islaam by Allaah Ta`aalaa, and each and every one of his lectures contain many priceless gems. Not only his Tawheed series, but every talk by him is brilliant.

Those who have not yet heard his lectures should try and take some time out to listen to them. You will benefit tremendously, In Shaa Allaah.

I'm just about finished with #4 of his tawheed lectures and plan on spending my whole day listening to them, insha'Allah.

It's a shame he is no longer publicly speaking that I can find, Dearborn, Michigan is not very far away from me relatively. It is only a day's drive and I would have gone to listen to him speak in person in a heartbeat.

Intimidated? Why?

Maybe what you mean is you felt awe of him. If so, that is the Ru`b which Allaah Rabbul `Izzat puts in the heart of people towards an `Aalim of Haqq. A true `Aalim. It cannot really be experienced over a video. When you meet a true `Aalim of Haqq in real life, you will experience that.

Completing a course in some Madrasah, or Jaami`ah, or Daarul Uloom, doesn't make a person an "`Aalim". An `Aalim is much more than that.

Idk him in person, and I haven't conversed with him. So Idk how his Akhlaq / character is.

Surely an Alim like him has good akhlaq.

Good Character + authentic knowledge / deeni knowledge = Amazing scholar.

Either of them missing = not good.

I think it is because I got linked by ISIS supporters so that made me a bit uncomfortable....................

I like wise scholars with good character AND with knowledge. :)

Don't worry about who links what.

Benefit from the `Ilm he is imparting in his lectures. Things you won't readily find elsewhere.

Yes, Mufti Menk starting in Medina to deoband he does not encourage sects thus abiding by the Noble Quran's Verses and he does not receive donations for the Madrasa run by his family funds in Zimbabwe, mashallah, .

One OF THE greatest AMONG THE UNBIASED Our era scholars that needs a Mention is Late Dr Israar Ahmed (Rah alay) A STRONG SPEAKER who Imo had ilham or knew his death (Allahul aalam) was near when he cried in his last video and dua just a few days before his death in 2010 , such a strong person which i never seen him doing it before . He was not only well versed Scholar of Islam but also had wide worldy academic knowledge and Being a Pakistani still he used to speak on the face of Rulers their mistakes, a very Bold personality indeed May Allah bestow him the best for living in Deen with sabr among all his opponents and fitna makers . Thus he was on all groups of islam telling their good & bad points were present among them and us and also about the Proof of ibn sabah the Yemeni Jewish hypocrite Muslim who sow the seeds of shias and Ali is God group which the Shias try to hide , in Dr Israar's opinion with proofs of Shias books itself.

One among of the last duas (few days before his death) of Dr Israar Ahmed saab was something like '' Ya Allah save me from the slanderers and their hurting words '' and Allah ar Rahman had a fixed the appropriate time to transfer him from this world of fitna & pain to his place of Peace, subhanallah .

Bro, I saw just one or two videos so I do not know what are you talking about ? does he promote sects ?

Because I will always keep away from such talks and attacking other Scholars on mean issues .

It's none of that. It's the wisdom in his talks. He makes a lot of statements which have a lot of wisdom behind them. And he gives lots of nice stories.

The man talks in his Tawheed lectures A LOT. Not to say he likes to listen to himself talk, not in the slightest, but he has an amazing amount of knowledge to convey. He also makes his talks very interesting.
