the greatest need of our time is faith sincerity and self rectification

it is spiritually and mentally beneficial to go into the countryside and admire and ponder over the creation of allah
natural running water has a therapeutic effect on the mind and soul
parents must consult children in all family matters in order to make the children feel loved and important as a family member
a spiritual illness is worse than physical illness
the more knowledge one attains the more one should realize how ignorant one is
even physical scars heal ,some without a trace .but the scars of nasty words cut the heart and are much more difficult to forget.
we are advised to be examples and not just critics
understand the importance of respecting different levels of people and how to address them.

Greetings and peace be with you AHMED PATEL; and welcome to the forum,

The search for an inner peace can seem illusive at times, I have found that trying to be thankful in difficult times, can help us on the journey towards that peace. I can remember spending some time with a homeless man, late one night. He told me that every night when he finds somewhere to sleep, he reflects on his day, and thanks God for his shelter, food, somewhere to wash, the people he meets, and even if he goes to bed hungry, he thanks God for the strength to keep going.

We can learn profound lessons in life, from those we least expect to, this man had carried his home in a bag for about five years.

In the spirit of praying for a peace that transcends all understanding.

hello eric:peace:

in bombay where i spent some time years ago there are thousands of individuals and families who sleep on the streets and even roadside.
a man was sleeping on a bench outside a hotel the cheapest room was £200 per night..as i had asked..

many of these peoples homes is a blanket which they roll up or a piece of cardboard .

i remember from the 80,s..wherever i lay my hat thats my home..

despite everything i write about and observe, i feel that its very important to stress that no matter what is happening around us we maintain a state of calm and balance.

alhamdulillah everyday along with the 5 salah do some zikr in a quite area, just 5 mins after each salah .minimum 1 quarter of para of quran per day,and minimum 1 qaza salah with the faraz if there are any to do.along with the fulfillment of others rights

remain calm with faith in allah taala that no matter what happens you as an individual will remain a good positive contributing citizen.
do not think of doing or even advocating anything illegal or haram no matter how frustrated you get.

all the problems of the world we are in now have always been cyclical and resolved eventually.
if not ,just remember that life is a test anyway, jannah is not here
and the only way to pass is by following the straight and middle path..inshallah.

may allah give us all the ability to pass and remain steadfast inshallah.
if you cannot sleep do zikr or just meditate on allahs creation inshallah.

muhaasibah and muraqabah at night
