As every new revert I have some challenges in finding my way into my new life as I consider Islam it's a new life. I find difficulties into making new friends, we all do respect every one it's lovely and congratulate you , however they don't want you in their group of friends. I hope I'm not upsetting anyone .

Welcome to the forum.

You are very right. You have hit the nail on the head. It is a new life.

Like a newborn baby. Only, more mature with ability to differentiate between right and wrong.

It begins with intentions to please Allah swt. and to steer clear of things that brings His displeasure.

Easier said than done.

It will be an uphill struggle. That is guaranteed. And everyone will be tested according to their limits as Allah prescribes and to each, their own test.

All I can say is 'alhamdulilLah!' that you found your way from Orthodox.

Take baby steps.

Wishing you a great stay.

Jazak allah for greetings. Insha allah I will find my way and some answers of my questions here.
After I converted into was advised to avoid seeing get non belivers- and honestly I got the point as u feel as an outsider . But as I said I find it difficult to liase new connection. You know to talk with a sister about this and that. Any suggestions? Anyone from south East or east of London? Not necessarily to meet in person, as I know how difficult it is to work and look after family and socialise but to chat
