Sister, it is easy to feel despondent and despair when there is no apparent light at the end of the tunnel but remember this - our time in the world is but a drop in the ocean in comparison to the hereafter. It is a time of test. That is the whole point of our lives.

By comparison, the hereafter is eternal. Anyone who commits suicide will be punished in hell - eternally, by some accounts. Sit back and take that thought in. How much should we we want to avoid being in that place? Imagine. We flinch in pain from a small burn in life if something happens by accident. Think then, being inside a flame many magnitudes of intensity higher than anything we know, with absolutely no way out of it and the worst part, no way to talk to Allah and ask him to help (too late at that time).

Whatever suffering we go through in our worldly lives pales in comparison. Taking ones own life is simply not a solution to anything.

If Allah has willed to test you with something, then none can remove it unless Allah wills. It will remain as a specific thing that Allah has chosen to test whether you really mean it when you say that you have believed in Allah and have submitted to him.

You got into a relationship which was not allowed and now that the man left you, it has left you in despair. In fact, Allah has taken you out of a haram relationship and put you in a state where you feel intense sadness. Use it as a means to get closer to him. Nothing is coincidental, there is purpose behind everything.

Assalamu ALaikum

Why are you feeling this way?? You have to snap out of it..do you have any friends that you can talk to? Make wudhu and salaah, seek refuge from shaytaan and inshallah it will help you. You need to breathe sis. Life can get difficult but you're alive for a reason.

A'salamu alaykum, beloved sister. Whatever trial you are facing in this dunya is less than an atom's weight of what Jahannam will be like, it doesn't come close. Endure it patiently and Allah will reward you with Eternal Gardens with Rivers flowing beneath, you will have Abundance without measure, and you will be clothed in Silk and Jewels, with whatever your heart desires, Allah has prepared for you unimaginable treasure, Forgiveness, and an Eternal reward we cannot even begin to fathom, in sha Allah ta'ala. Seek forgiveness and patience, and seek the support of your Ummah. I hope you will come back to update us, and let us know that you are safe, sister. May Allah ease your difficulties.

You have to think of your life as a gift, even if it doesn't feel like one right now, just think about this, the most High, the most Powerful one, the one that has all Might, who created the heavens and earth, gave you the greatest gift, your life. How can you dishounour someone so Honourable and High by rejecting His gift, because of some people or some problems. He will deal with the people that hurt you later and everything will also become better. But if you do this, How will you face Him?

Assalamu alaikum sister,

You have been given some great advice above. I hope and pray that you will be able to pass this test that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaa has set. The key to passing through this phase is prayer. Make abundant prayer for the strength to help you endure this difficult phase in your life and never ever despair of being forgiven for any sins you may have committed, in which case you must repent with full sincerity. Allah is Most Merciful.
