Salaam alaykum to all!

I am sister harb from Finland. I just registered here..

What I could tell about myself... I have been muslim last 11 years and the day when I became muslim was the best day in my life ever.
(Originally posted: https://www.islamicboard.com/introdu...m-alaykum.html )

Ok, I have been here 10 years now. Isn´t it worth of one cake for me?

A lot of happened during this time, many members came and gone. Some still are staying here. LI/IB has been like a life itself - everything has changed and will change and maybe it just has to be so.

By the way, it took a long time to find this my the first post from the archive but finally I succeeded.

Ok, where´s my cake!

Wa alaykum assalam,

10 years is a long time, I haven't even completed my one-year anniversary on IB left. :embarrass

Here is a cake for being an amazing part of IB for so long sis, may Allah swt give you endless blessings and happiness in both deen and dunya. Ameen.

Assalamualaikum, sister.

A Javanese traditional cake for you. It's called Getuk Lindri.

Made from cassava, and eaten with grated coconut.

Getuk Lindri is just one of many exotic traditional Javanese cakes that called "jajanan pasar" (marketplace foods). This term came from colonial era which in that time "jajanan pasar" available only in "pasar" (traditional marketplace), while cake stores provided only European cakes. Now "jajajan pasar" are available in cake stores too, but the term is not changed.

It looks like number 10.

Or then it´s a marzipan snake who pretends to be number 10. Better to eat it the first. :p

Well, it's meant to be the number 10 as sister herb has been here for ten years, I wouldn't fancy a cake with a snake hiding in it.

When we are in IB forum, we actually live on the planet X. All cakes here are noncaloric. Outside there cakes are different.

;)

But if at the least the images of cakes cause to you side effects like fear of calories, you better stop looking them.
